My name is Hunab

I live in Bacalar and I am a musical artist, visual artist and facilitator of experiences.

I am an enthusiastic Mexican who has traveled the world and am currently establishing my life in Bacalar...
Yes, Bacalar was the place I liked the most of all the ones I visited.

I arrived in the Riviera Maya almost 10 years ago, and I was so captivated that, from the first moment, I dedicated myself to caring for and preserving this natural paradise. Through my music, social service, volunteer in NGOs and currently president of the NGO Beings in Consciousness, I contribute to making Bacalar a great place that visitors can enjoy consciously.

But I also know the most special places in this lagoon, its culture, its needs and its opportunities.. Its most valuable projects and how to protect any land investment.

And all this knowledge is experience that I share in all the expeditions that I offer.

In all my tours you can expect:

General Guidance

I will share appropriate practices to enjoy the Bacalar lagoon without any kind of guilt for environmental or social impact. I will explain the nature of the site and I will be happy to answer your questions about Bacalar and its surroundings.

Conscious Community

I am part of a circle of wonderful local people, with very interesting stories and related projects. I will recommend not only places of interest, but projects and people that will spice your experience in the lagoon.

1. Conscious Expedition - Half day

Schedules: 7 AM to 12 PM | and | 2 PM to 7 PM
Cost: $1000 mxn por persona
Plan B and Plan C in case of rain

Plan "A": Expedición en Velero

Viviremos el Amanecer o Atardecer mágicos de la laguna de Bacalar. Nos prepararemos en grupo para visitar en velero los sitios naturales mejor preservados de la laguna y nadaremos en ellos (con los cuidados necesarios).
We will visit the Isla de los Pájaros and the intersection with the Xul-Ha Lagoon, which is a key site to understand the ecosystem.
We will go to the iconic cenotes of Bacalar and see well preserved stromatolites.
Concluiremos nuestro viaje con un recorrido en Akalki; un sitio oculto y poco convencional y que te dejará sin palabras y te mostrará el lado consciente de Bacalar.

Total duration of the tour: 5 hours

*Includes sailing trip, snacks and healthy drinks.

Plan "B": Holistic Experience

We will live the magical Sunrise or Sunset near the Bacalar lagoon.
We will contemplate the best preserved natural sites of the lagoon and we will swim in them (with the necessary care).
We will have a very special experience with transformative potential, it can be:
- Cacao Ceremony to live the Mexican culture from its ancestry in fusion with the present world.
- Beat Healing, which is a profound sound experience using one-of-a-kind musical instruments, as well as the ability to hear and interpret the sound of one's own heart. See Soul Sync for more information.
Both are experiences to celebrate and allow new sensory experiences.

2. Conscious Expedition - Full Day

Only Schedule: 7 AM to 6 PM
Cost:
- Visita a sitio arqueológico secreto de Dzibanché: $2500 mxn por persona
- Full Expedition in Sailboat: $2,500 mxn por persona

Plan "A": Visita a Dzibanché

The first option, and most recommendable, is to spend a large part of the day at the archaeological site of Dzibanché and then visit the secret garden with natural waters.

We will take a dip in the lagoon at sunrise to feel nature and give intention to the day.
At 8 AM we will take a very comfortable private transport for a trip of approximately 1 hour to the enigmatic archaeological site of Dzibanché.
We will enjoy a dynamic of ancestral connection with the archaeological site before exploring it.
We will explore the complete archaeological site and I will tell you everything I know about the Mayan culture, its teachings and the archaeological site.
On the way back we will visit a very special secret garden where natural waters run and we will be able to enjoy the rest of the day in the water and the shade of the trees.

Total duration of the experience: 11 hours

*Includes transportation to Dzibanché, snacks and healthy drinks.

It is advisable to bring your own food and a bottle of water (to refill).

Plan "B": Expedición Completa en Velero

We will live the magical Sunrise or Sunset of the Bacalar lagoon.
We will visit the best-preserved natural sites in the lagoon on a sailboat and we will swim in them (with the necessary care).
We will respectfully visit Xtomoc, one of the best preserved secrets of the lagoon.
We will visit the Isla de los Pájaros and the intersection with the Xul-Ha Lagoon, which is a key site to understand the ecosystem.
We will go to the iconic cenotes of Bacalar and see well preserved stromatolites.
We will have a very special tour in Akalki; a hidden and unconventional site that will leave you speechless and show you the conscious side of Bacalar.
